Johanna Seidel

In his artistic work, the artist deals with the nature of perceived realities. She approaches them through a poetic visual language, in which the symbols of history, mythology and dreams mix with the everyday and the personal. The canvas offers her the space in which she can freely create references and develop stories, constantly seeking the balance between realistic and naive figuration. From the painting itself, she thus develops stories and still images that exist in an atmospheric space, condensing memories into abstract moments that here become universally accessible and experiential.
