Esther Barend

Esther Barend (Dec. 1964, Eindhoven - Netherlands) was born into a family of artists. After completing her studies, she worked and lived in Paris and then in Amsterdam.She then established herself as a jewelry designer. Several years later, she started classes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk, Belgium. Over the years, she has developed her own style. She always goes further, experiments, opens up to new horizons.Esther Barend has an irresistible need to paint. She is inspired by her rich and complex inner world, her emotions, her memories and her current life. Painting is essential for Esther, it is more than a job, it is a way of life. What she cannot say with words, she expresses with painting. She wants to take the viewer into a long, fascinating spectacle, built by powerful colors, contrasts and movements, leading them into another world that exists only in their own minds.Her work is seen around the world from New York to Amsterdam to Paris and Tokyo.
