
Biography
After graduating from Leicester College of Art & Design, Cheryl co-founded a business in interior design, using her skills to produce the architectural drawings and artists impressions of projects undertaken by the firm.
In 1982 she formed a second business working closely with her sister, a silversmith, to produce a range of etched brass bowls, door plates etc. A bowl she produced was acquired by the Victoria & Albert Museum for its permanent collection.
In 1990 Cheryl produced a Limited Edition of 150 pairs of brass etched coasters. Edition No. 1 now sits withinThe Royal Collection, having been acquired by by H.R.H Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh.
Cheryl is elected as a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and The Pastel Society, which she sat as President of from 2012 to 2016.
“I am a landscape painter because the countryside is the place where I feel most at ease. I do feel it is possible to have a spiritual connection with the natural world and I hope that my paintings reflect this.”
