Biography
Boris Vallejo is a Peruvian-American painter. Born in 1941, he attended the Escuela Nacional Superior Autonóma de Bellas Artes in Lima, Peru.
Vallejo is known for his depictions of science fiction and fantasy worlds, in particular Tarzan and Conan the Barbarian. An admirer of the human body, his figures are often muscular, idealized and athletic. Vallejo has also produced film posters, book covers, video covers and record sleeves.
