
Biography
Erika Wastrom (b. 1984, Barnstable, MA) lives and works in Barnstable, MA. Her paintings are immediate and direct, moving nimbly between narrative and stylistic considerations that include collage-like, two-dimensional portraits and still lifes. Her work is a color-saturated world of texture, pattern, figures, and inspired objects—off-kilter scenes and tablescapes comprised of a rich variety of ordinary objects and heirloom quality artifacts.
