Born in Paris in 1971, Rakel Wajnberg has been drawing and painting since her early childhood. Passionate about fashion, drawing, travel and especially painting, she uses the canvas to share her passions with her spectators. She studied fashion at the Esmod school and that's where she got into the habit of not throwing anything away, because everything can be reused one day: a button, pins, an old piece of lace.
Painting and drawing since always, Rakel Wajnberg has carved out a place of choice in Contemporary Art, and more particularly in Pop Art in barely 10 years. Better still, she has become essential and juggles between her hats as a painter and that of a visual artist with gusto. Known and recognized for her strong and singular identity endowed with an unprecedented dose of optimism and cheerfulness, she created her own movement: Rebel'Art. Between paintings enthroned on the icons that fascinate her such as Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Marylin or even Kate Moss and Gainsbourg.
Indeed, coming to life in 3D, the sculptures made by hand in unique pieces take up the design of the famous chewing gum dear to the permissive years.

Rakel Wajnberg creates works of art centered around iconic figures of cinema and fashion such as Paul Newman, Marilyn Monroe, Al Pacino, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Serge Gainsbourg, Kate Moss.
How to immortalize them? With great joy, the artist uses different mediums to allow the imagination to travel with the help of different supports and techniques... She wants to touch the viewers, to stir emotions in them, the nostalgia that lies in every one of us. She creates visual flashbacks. Rakel Wajnberg's new works use an iconic signature: the Malab'art's.
