Jerod

Jerod is an emerging French artist, living in the vicinity of Strasbourg. He has been creating abstract paintings for about ten years now. He likes to work in abstraction with tools like spatulas that allow him to flatten the colors, to roll them out, to smooth them on the canvas and to scratch them.

The work he creates unfolds before his eyes and allows him to express his emotions and sensitivity. The choice of colors is made as he goes along without necessarily having a prior idea. Indeed, he likes to work with chance and urgency.

Creating abstract works imposed itself to him when he started to paint. He has always considered this means of expression as a way to reveal himself but also to develop a poetic vision of the world.
