Stan Wysocki, born in 1949 in Elk, is a polish sculptor. The artist studied at the Beaux-Arts academy in Poznan (1978-1980), then at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin (1981-1986), where he followed the courses of the teacher J.H. Lonas. During his studies he worked in the sculpture workshops of Herman Noack Bildgieserei and Pery Green. After his studies and a first exhibition in 1984, he returned to Poland to settle in Wroclaw.

The artist participated to many individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and aboard. His artworks where exhibited in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and in Turkey.

In 2009, he received the prize of Wroclaw and in 2011 he received the Cultural Prize of Silesia.
