His last exhibition will take place at the Art World Gallery in Cannes, the city where he died in 1998. The galleries and the sale of his art helped him to absorb his tax debt equivalent to 18 million euros. The Pasquali, his heirs, without children, organize during their lifetime the sale of his art and they distribute the money to good works. On his death the Town Hall of Vallauris decrees four days of mourning and a crowd gathers around his grave. Nice-Matin title: “Vallauris has lost its sun”.
