"Patchwork" by Tatyana Shulyak is an intricate abstract composition that resembles a quilt of emotions and experiences. The painting is structured with blocks of vibrant colors—fiery reds, deep purples, warm oranges, and calming pastels—conveying a sense of harmony amidst diversity. Each segment tells its own story while contributing to the unified whole, much like pieces of fabric in a patchwork quilt.
Through this work, Shulyak explores the interconnectedness of life, where contrasts and variations coexist beautifully. The textured surface adds depth, inviting the viewer to reflect on the layered complexities of human experience and the beauty that arises from bringing disparate elements together into a cohesive vision.

Tatyana Shulyak was born in Donetsk, but spent her entire life in the city of Kremenchug. She studied at an art school, then graduated from the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg with a degree in art history. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Currently he works at the Kremenchug Children's Art School, where he teaches art history. Participates in all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions.
Good basic training and active creative activity (participation in many international exhibitions) formed the creative personality and original style of the artist Tatyana Shulyak - a modern interpretation of the Art Nouveau style. She boldly combines bright colors and creates contrasting combinations. The artist's works leave an impression of completeness and thoughtfulness, a joyful aftertaste of a celebration of life, color and movement. It is interesting that Tatyana Shulyak chooses her own dominant color scheme for each work, sometimes enhancing the sound of color, and sometimes dividing it into many additional shades, which, together with careful strokes, become a kind of mosaic.
