Here is my 14th work at a scale of 4:1 representing a cep in cherry burl and aluminum from which a wood geotrupe in brass feeds, a Burgundy snail in acacia, bronze and aluminum, and two slugs in aluminum and brass. In the center of the cep we can see a brass sphere which represents the life that animates every living being on earth. I sculpted this scene trying to remain as faithful as possible to reality to highlight the beauty and the fascinating and limitless creativity of nature! In a more philosophical way, this work represents the very first cep of the season, we can see here that being early in its field it undergoes a real assault from the different insects that feed on it, it is literally eaten alive. This echoes on the one hand the animosity and fear that humans can have in the face of precursivity, novelty or the difference of an idea, a person, a vision etc. On the other hand, it shows how the rarity of something can make it precious at a given moment, such as a raw material, know-how, an object, etc. While in a while, when mushrooms abound in the woods, the latter will blend into the mass, it will no longer be the only one, it will stand out less in the landscape and therefore much less subject to attacks from the rest of the world. Humanity works in exactly the same way in my eyes.
This intriguing artwork depicts a giant mushroom sculpture, skillfully crafted from mixed materials. The mushroom's cap, a subtle pinkish-beige, is adorned with metallic insect figures, enhancing its organic appearance. A snail, with a golden sheen, climbs the surface, symbolizing a captivating contrast between the swiftness of nature and the permanence of metal. The realistic texture evokes the softness and roughness of the natural world. The base of the mushroom features shades of gray and black, adding visual depth. These elements combine to illustrate the fragility and resilience of life, while inviting the viewer to contemplate the interplay between nature and artifice. A truly fascinating piece that celebrates the beauty and complexity of our ecosystem.

Presentation
My inner child has always tried to express itself by using my hands to create. I feel an indescribable fulfillment in creating works that sometimes denounce certain situations that affect me, sometimes pay homage to the greatest artist that the Earth has ever carried, Nature!
