Description
This mesmerizing artwork features an abstract composition centered on a dynamically swirling cluster of vibrant colors, predominantly rich blues, purples, and earthy browns. The amorphous shapes coalesce to form what resembles an organic ring or vortex, inviting viewers to explore its depths. The array of hues is expertly blended, creating a sense of fluidity and motion. Surrounding the central form, the background showcases a textured, beige 'canvas' with subtle, irregular cutouts, adding a three-dimensional effect and highlighting the vibrancy of the central motif. This juxtaposition of fluid forms against structured voids accentuates the interplay between chaos and order, making it a captivating visual experience. Presentation
Ariadna Dane is a Russian-British artist living and working in London, UK. Through her upbringing in Siberia and travelling, she had discovered a connection to nature which became a source of inspiration for her evolving art practice.
In her work, Ariadna grew fascinated by the newer, less common contemporary mixed media materials, such as alcohol based ink, and is currently exploring how they can be used in the unique and unexpected ways. The artists's pieces have a sophisticated natural appearance, reminiscent of basic life forms, organic cells and celestial structures.
Created in isolation during the lockdown, Ariadna's new work will be exhibited in Fulham Town Hall. The group exhibition “Art in the Age of Now" will bring together contemporary art, live music, talks and performance art.
