On the street that we live on there is a small 4th of July parade that takes place each year. This tractor is a part of it. I painted this from a photo that my niece took from my front yard. It harkens back to the small town parades that occur each year throughout the country. I do a light sketch and then I paint with acrylic using a small palette and a small detail brush. I then spray it with a non yellowing varnish. It has a smooth finish. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Ready to Hang: Yes. Presentation
Artist Statement:
I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and have lived in the Salt Lake Valley all my life. It is a beautiful place to live. I come from a family of artists who influenced me in my younger years. I have worked in a few different vocations but none as rewarding as the art world. I'm a self taught artist and my style is realism. I paint with acrylics and work from photos. Most of my work is very clear and sharp. I am very happy when I can bring a scene to life for someone else. I feel my work is unique in that it's not a style you're likely to see very often. I think my style resonates with a lot of people because they can relate to it. I have done many commissions and am very open to doing commissions.
Education:
I am a self taught artist. I have had a few drawing classes but other that I just paint what I see.

Artistic Influences:
My influences were my brother and sister. I paint in a similar style as they although I work with acrylic and they in oils, however I did start with oils.
