At the origin of each piece is the drawing, meticulously recorded in his notebooks where sketches abound. Then comes the magical moment of wool, where Laëtitia savors each gesture, stretching the fibers to see the imagined patterns born under her fingers, in a ballet of carding.
Each step is a subtle play between constructing and deconstructing, a step-by-step process where the work, sometimes put on hold, finds a new lease of life the next day.
