After a period of experimentation during his formative years, the illustrious creator decided to reclaim what ignited the flame of his childhood passion, guiding his steps towards the revered institution of the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking, known as "La Esmeralda". However, within that sacred abode of art, Pichardo refused to be confined by what he perceived as a rigid and bureaucratic framework. He returned to the primordial, to the realm of freedom, ceaselessly experimenting until he rediscovered the imprint that had pulsed within him since his early years, ultimately defining the distinctive style he proudly wields today with singular mastery.
Today, the eight-year-old child dwelling deep within Enrique Pichardo manifests himself in all his magnificence through a pictorial composition infused with his inimitable personality, where body, mind, and soul converge harmoniously.
