In this captivating artwork, we see a carefully orchestrated composition where a woman seems suspended in a space with an alien and ethereal atmosphere. Soft, diffused light bathes the scene, creating delicate shadows that subtly sculpt the shapes and add an intriguing depth to the image. The woman sits on a surface covered in a transparent, slightly crumpled material, perhaps a veil or plastic, which envelops her body in a sort of almost protective cocoon. She adopts a curled posture, her arms wrapped around her legs, evoking both vulnerability and introspection. Her face, partially hidden by her slightly wavy hair, expresses a serene melancholy that immediately captures the viewer's attention. To the left of the image, a white vase containing dark flowers adds a touch of contrast and balance. The simplicity of the vase contrasts with the textural complexity of the rest of the work, subtly drawing the eye without distracting it from the central figure. The drapes in the background and on the sofa evoke heavy and mysterious curtains, adding a theatrical dimension to the scene. The overall mood seems to be at the junction of surrealism and poetic realism, where each element contributes to a visually immersive and emotionally evocative narrative. This work succeeds in combining visual harmony and emotional intensity, creating an image that remains etched in the viewer's mind, inciting reflection and personal interpretation.
The Sanitized Collection
Composed of two complementary tones, one blue and one orange, both in the decorations and in the lighting, the Sanitized collection with its set entirely covered in plastic sheeting, recalls the unprecedented episode that our societies have experienced: the Covid crisis and the blockages.
But if this first reading allows us to situate this collection in time, we cannot help but see a deeper, more conceptual and more critical meaning: the cleaning up of our society and its culture. Smooth plastic perfectly represents the current desire to create a world without roughness, that does not disturb anyone. A world that trembles at the idea of criticism on social networks, a world where the priority is no longer to please some, but to displease no one. In the midst of this, the individual, the only element not covered in plastic, dares to defy the standardization of our morals. And the choice that is offered to him is to accept or not this new world, smooth and sanitized, a choice represented by the duality of the colors that illuminate the model. It is up to the spectator to choose the world he prefers.
Sanitized is the 13th collection of the project “Un Anonyme Nu Dans Le Salon" an artistic project that aims to constitute the largest photographic series ever made representing humanity as it is, in its most natural state, its nudity and its diversity. This concept of photographic art aims to bring together thousands of models, volunteers of all ages and social categories to constitute an immense gallery of portraits of men and women of today. These photographs, in their multitude and the originality of each of them, their dynamism and their naturalness, bear witness to universal human beauty, far beyond the restrictive socio-cultural and aesthetic criteria of our time.
Anonymous Naked in the Living RoomAn Anonymous Nude in the Living Room is a unique artistic project that aims to constitute the largest photographic series ever produced representing humanity as it is, in its most natural state, its nudity and its diversity.
Developed by photographer Idan Wizen, this concept of photographic art aims to bring together thousands of models, volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to create a huge bank of portraits of men and women of today who have agreed to show themselves as they are, naked.
These art photographs, in their multitude and the originality of each of them, their dynamism and their naturalness, bear witness to universal human beauty, well beyond the restrictive socio-cultural and aesthetic criteria of our time.
Anyone who poses in their simplest form thus participates, through their own personality, their differences and their particularities freely expressed in the photo, in the universality of the human race.
Idan Wizen has chosen to exacerbate the true authenticity of each of his models, breaking their possible masks, exposing through each of them, the simple and naked beauty of human nature.
He also challenges the usual criteria of nude photography with his shocking photos, with a powerful artistic bias, where the spontaneous provocation of one model can rub shoulders with the playful and naive expression of another, or even the modest revelation of a third.
To the standardization of beauty criteria in our society as well as its modes of expression, An Anonymous Nude in the Living Room opposes the multitude, the variety, the strength of character, the movement, the surprising and the natural in the raw state of the human race.
Each photo is unique, just like its model, and never retouched. This necessarily challenges us and arouses in us a curious feeling of proximity, of belonging. Because these models are all of us.

Idan Wizen is a Franco-Israeli artist and photographer, founder of the project “Un Anonyme Nu Dans Le Salon". His photographs have been exhibited in Paris, New York, Miami, Osaka…
In 2013, he won the award for best male nude photo at the International PhotoShootAwards. Subsequently, the photographs of the project have received more than 60 awards.
Idan was born on October 26, 1984 in Tel Aviv. In 2002, he joined the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas to begin studies in economics and management. But very quickly, the artist realizes that his favorite fields are art, photography and advertising.
He then joined Sup de Pub, from which he graduated with a Master's degree in artistic direction in 2007. In 2008, he also obtained his Master's degree at the “University of the arts of London".
Back in Paris, after a brief experience as a marketing manager in cosmetics, Idan Wizen founded a communication agency, Studio Idan, working on print, the web and photography.
Alongside this activity, Idan began to photograph, and so on April 18, 2009, the project “Un Anonyme Nu Dans Le Salon" was founded. His management of light, the unique rendering of photos, the ability to make anyone look beautiful, and the confidence of the models that he manages to gain very quickly, make more and more people come to pose for the project, which has more than 2400 participants to date.
In addition to the “Who is this naked in the living room?" project that he continues to develop, Idan Wizen devotes himself to advertising and fashion photography and other artistic projects, such as Hinders, Into The Box, The World We Left Them, etc.
