After a career in communications, it was natural for her to turn to a manual and creative profession. Feathers were the obvious choice for Béatrice Bost-Le Moüël, who loves natural materials...
Feathers, a material in their own right On discovering feathers, the designer realised that there was something for everyone: the styles are infinite, the colours incalculable, the textures limitless. But despite this diversity, the material remains translucent and plays particularly well with light. For her paintings, Béatrice Bost-Le Mouël uses her favourite material, always in an airy way, taking advantage of the movement and lightness of the feather.
During her training in featherwork at the Lycée Professionnel Octave Feuillet, the only one of its kind in France, Béatrice Bost-Le Mouël learned all the traditional techniques of this art. But instead of applying them to fashion accessories, she uses them to create works of art.
