This work by Léa Dedieu presents a stylized face through a composition mixing drawing and collage on paper. The artist uses abstract and refined forms to evoke the features of a face without going into detailed figurative. The mouth, in bright red, immediately catches the eye, bringing a sensual and energetic touch to the work. This mouth, with marked curves, almost seems to float in the space of the composition, surrounded by soft geometric shapes in pastel tones of pink, peach and yellow.
The blurred and rounded contours of the other elements, especially the large pink shape on the right and the touches of white, add a dreamlike and poetic dimension to the work, evoking surrealism or lyrical abstraction. The absence of distinctive elements such as eyes or nose leaves room for free interpretation by the viewer, giving this face a certain universality.

Presentation
Léa Dedieu, a young designer, graduated from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, creates objects and furnishes spaces. Fascinated by color, she draws her inspiration from the work of the Impressionists, Pop culture, the acid reflections of Maurizio Cattelan and contemporary designers, Pierre Charpin, Bertjan Pot or Marcel Wanders. What she likes is experimenting without material limits. Before each creation, she draws, flattens geometric shapes and measures. Between two technical drawings hides his graphic universe. Painting, pencil, watercolor, felt-tip pens, Indian ink ... All mediums are used to invent an imposing flower, a silhouette, a decoration. A complete artist, she is overflowing with creativity and the desire to create.
