Presentation
Anastasia Skopp (*1977) is a meditative floral artist whose works have a high appreciation value. Her work shows influences of Abstract Expressionism and elements of Modern Painting. Skopp deftly manipulates colors, light intensity, sharpness, and blurring. She creates delicate floral compositions using mixed media, dabs, pouring, spraying, spatulas, or even using household fruit knives.
Skopp's original paintings are painted with acrylic paint, inks, gel, and textured paste. Sometimes impasto paint and Skopp's unique painting technique give her works an impressive depth of expression. Her work is in private collections worldwide, in world-renowned galleries, and in exhibitions across Europe, the United States, and Canada.
After seven years of studying art at the Mordovian Art College, Skopp studied the fundamentals of Drawing and classical Painting. The floral artworks of the artist are the fruit of years of study of Eckhart Tolle's spiritual books. The act of painting for the artist is meditative.
