This upside down under the anarchic layers at the top and then organizing themselves as we go down, we see fuzzy constructions. Depending on the light of the reflections enrich the harmonies with orange colors.
THE CONCEPT
"Eating on a painting" That’s the first idea of my painting,
The second constraint was color, a first work on the harmony of colors and the shapes of the trays.
The third was to give depth to my trays, they became more and more architectural. The work in successive layers related to lacquers allowed me to play on the gold and silver to create an illusion of movement. the use of transparent varnishes between the layers gave depth or relief to my trays.
The fourth point worked was the feet in order to create an original, harmonious and unique set.
From thread to thread, my table tops have more and more resembled paintings, they are, today, as much hung on the wall as used as a table top. However, there are two major differences between the vertical position of a table and the horizontal position of a table top, a table with only one direction of reading whereas the table top can be looked in all four directions, and the variations of colors, intensities and play with light are multiplied in horizontal position, the dynamics of the painting is more intense.
Here, the composition of the background is based on a game of dilution that randomly move reliefs to create random paths structures of the composition. The architectures cross and meet again by the transparency of the colored varnishes to give depth and life to this improbable city. Depending on the focus of your gaze and the depth to which you watch you recompose any of the architectures.

Presentation
Olivier lives and works in the Nantes region.
After having participated in sketching courses, live models and a 4-year cycle at the fine arts of Cholet, 25 years in the industry in many fields, Olivier experiments with different techniques, reproduction, upcycling, sculpture on wood and metal and since 2012 painting on wood panels.
Inspired by large formats or asymmetric formats, his work is based on the superposition of layers of paint and tinted varnish to give movement and depth to his painting.
A first 18m long fresco which loops in a room on the theme of time and the cycle of life, orients it towards continuous painting by the realization of square or triangle base columns which are painted flat alternately then assembled to compose columns.
The plurality of areas of interest push Olivier to create a unique range of furniture: tables, armchairs and chairs under the Dysform brand.
Today, following a student project at the fashion school in Cholet, a second collection of men's t-shirts will see the light of day.
