Untitled ("Senza Titolo") is an original artwork realized by Gino De Dominicis in 1970. Original drawing in pencil and China ink. It is glued onto paperboard. Frame included (25.8 x 25.8 cm). The artwork is hand-signed by the artist in pencil on the back. Perfect conditions.

Presentation
Gino De Dominicis (Ancona, 1947 – Rome, 1998) was an Italian artist and sculptor. He was a controversial figure in the landscape of Italian Art between the 1960s and 1970s. His work is different from that of mainstream art movements in those years. In his work, he used different techniques and he defined himself “a painter, a sculptor, a philosopher and an architect".
His independent work is not classifiable. De Dominicis studied with Edgardo Mannucci and, in 1967, realized his first exhibition in the art gallery founded by his father in their city, Ancona. After several trips, he moved to Rome. In these years the art scene in Rome was very intense: Laboratorio '70, with which the artist collaborated, was founded by Notargiacomo, Matteucci and Grottesi.
The most important art show presented by the artist was the “Zodiaco", a tableau vivant presented by the artist in the popular Roman Art Gallery “L'Attico". In the “Zodiaco", the artist presents the symbols of the twelve zodiac signs with animals and human beings (except for the two dead fishes on the floor). In 1972, the work entitled “Seconda soluzione d'immortalità (L'Universo è immobile)" (Second Resolution of Immortality – The Universe is Still) was considered scandalous at The Venice Biennial. On two small chairs were the figures of Il Giovane (The Young Man) – performed by his assistant Simone Carella – and Il Vecchio (The Old Man).
