Artist Statement:
Art has no barrier, it doesn't judge, it calms our inner soul, and has the power to bring out the most honest emotions in people.
I am an experienced artist based in the United States. My paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. In addition my art has been featured in publications such as HOW Magazine. I refer to my multi-layered technique as StrataLife, as it investigates the vast layers of experience we carry around. Through different shades of colors, textures, reflections and movement...I invite the viewer to reflect upon themselves as if looking into a mirror of one's soul.
Education:
I have been to art magnet schools since I was in middle school. I graduated from Design and Architecture Senior High in Miami FL. Studies included fine art, and fashion design. I have owned an operated a faux finishings business for 15+years. I have designed, and painted artistic finishes on walls, including mural work, and furniture refinishing. My work is displayed on walls in homes, and businesses from Florida to California.
