Abstract, intense painting in portrait format, inspired by the lightning and thunder of an imposing storm. White, yellow, red, blue and pink tones seem to meet in a very dynamic or explosive way and to strive outwards, complemented by a few black accents. The center is dominated by yellow and orange tones and is rich in details and contrasts.
I have painted several variations of Thunder And Lightning, as it has been a motif for years that nature has constantly reinvented and presented in new forms and colors.
This modern painting is painted on canvas with highly pigmented acrylic paint. The painting is stretched on a 3.8 cm deep gallery stretcher frame and can be hung without an additional frame as the sides of the picture are also painted. The painting is securely packaged and usually shipped via DHL Express.

Peter Nottrott is a painter who feels at home in abstract painting. He works with acrylic on the largest possible canvases, up to 3.5 square meters.
The most important thing in his work is the creative freedom for his authentic way of painting. This means he is in his large, atmospheric studio in Flenburg, has brushes and paints ready and a large white canvas in front of him. He loves to immerse himself completely in painting - that's when he loses all sense of time and surroundings. It's almost like being in a trance-like state. This kind of freedom allows Peter Nottrott to infuse as much dynamic power and positive energy into his paintings as possible. Peter loves to compose different color combinations and shapes into a painting, and he likes to pass on his love of art to all who see and enjoy his work.
He has sold paintings to more than 30 countries worldwide, so his large collector base is international. Many Nottrott paintings hang in the United States, but also In in United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong or Japan, and of course in Germany and many European countries, the colorful works shine and bring the inclined viewer to enjoy positive energy.
