Presentation
Born in Paris in 1964. She grew up in Fontenay-aux-Roses and moved to Paris in 1982. She joined the Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1986, drawing a lot from nature as well as in the Louvre. She admires the Nabis. She graduated in Fine Arts in 1991, then received two scholarships (Fulbright and Lavoisier) 1991 and 1992 to study at the Parsons School of Art in New York. She stayed there for 5 years and her work changed radically, moving from a work from the Western tradition to an expressionist and gestural painting influenced by American painting but also by jazz and children's art.
Back in France in 1996, she set up her workshop in Montrouge. A new pictorial mutation took place in 2008: While remaining a great colourist from the Western tradition, her painting undertakes the search for a unifying, free and uncompromising gesture that we cannot help but compare in his mind, to the work of oriental calligraphers.
At that time, her work was noticed, she was invited to exhibit in salons of young designers like the one in Montrouge. Since then she has shown her work in galleries and art centers in France and abroad. His painting is in public and private collections, in Korea, the United States, the Middle East and Europe.
