Abstract Composition is a beautiful colored serigraph on cream-colored paper, realized in the 1970's by the Italian artist, Luigi Montanarini (1906-1998) and published by La Nuova Foglio, a publishing house of Macerata, Italy, as the dry-stamp points on the lower right corner of the sheet.
Hand-signed and numbered in pencil on the lower margin. From a rare edition of La Nuova Foglio in 1970 with a circulation of 100 prints.
In this contemporary and Informal artwork, representing synthetic colorful abstract composition, Montanarini frees the color from the geometric rigor and from the color the gesture is expressed clearly.
Including a white cardboard passepartout, cm 70 x 50.

Presentation
Luigi Montanarini was an Italian painter and engraver. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence and adhered to the Roman School, but detached from its defined style, seeking a more European painting technique. The artist exhibited in the whole world and participated in the main Italian and international art fairs, such as the Venice Biennial, the Quadrennial National of Rome, among others. He also exhibited his artworks in the most important European art museum.
