My paintings speak about us, about life. This life which passes under the brushes, which is sealed in the titles, which harmonizes the opposites: transparency and opacity, roughness and softness, traces and evanescence... the whole in a perpetual research of the light. Powerful and enveloping light. 


To paint is to enter into meditation in front of the immense space of freedom of the white canvas and to welcome all possibilities. To paint, only to paint, without looking for anything, without considering anything. To advance alone on this path, towards nowhere, towards nothing if not the act of creating, the act of painting.

To be impregnated by life, by the song of nature, by the colors of our world. To be inspired by an endless freedom.

My painting is based on this subtle link, this journey between the infinitely inner and the infinitely outer, like the breath of life. 


From a deep and intimate relationship with the material, collages, cracks, impastos, fades are born... creating as many asperities that allow me to build the structure of my paintings.  Worked with energy and passion, my painting is declined in movements, in luminous flashes. The fades emphasize the material and the flat areas, establishing zones of calm that give a particular rhythm to my paintings, like a breath, a breath.

However, at the beginning, the canvas, always placed on the ground, is energetically coated with a knife, the matter is powerfully projected without intention. After these tumultuous beginnings, a harmony appears. Little by little, from these methods full of ardor, a subtle play of colors takes place. 

From the depth of the blues, from the brightness of the yellows and whites, from the vitality of the oranges... is born a lively and colorful work from which are never absent the quietude and the freshness of the moment.
