It is not enough to be born into a family where art is present everywhere to be an artist. It has to be a necessity, the only possible choice. No doubt this was the case for the painter Arthur Dorval. This son of gallery owners and a former student of the prestigious Saint Luc Art School in Tournai studied, drew on the teachings of the greatest abstract painters.
