LIROY is a self-taught French artist who lives and works in Paris.

After a few years spent in the restaurant business and then in entrepreneurship, creating his own brand of clothing until 2009, he really finds his artistic way with photography. He became a freelance photographer realising colorful stagings for artists in the music industry.

Helped by a member of his family who is a professional painter, he starts in 2018, to paint. His works, mostly painted with acrylic, are a continuation of his desire to give color around him. His first exhibition is held in 2019 at Weltcafe in Stuttgart (Germany).

In 2021, he will create a 30 meter fresco on the terrace of Café A (Paris 10).

Contemporary artist with naive, graphic and colorful paintings, LIROY finds his inspiration in his daily life and his memories. He likes above all to paint scenes of life with characters with very recognizable two-tone faces in the shape of coffee beans.
