The Maryam Ahi Gallery is pleased to present its new exhibition “Poetry of Nature” dedicated to two major contemporary artists: Nasser Azizi and Amir Soghrati.

The universal theme of Nature brings us back to our humanity and our identity on earth. The idea for the exhibition came very naturally to question the artist's relationship to his environment and more precisely Nature and its representation.

Born in Tehran in 1970, Nasser Azizi graduated from high school at Tehran College of Visual Arts in 1985, then continued his studies at Tehran Azad University of Fine Arts and successfully completed his bachelor's degree and his master's degree in painting in 1996. His talent and interest in painting from Each stage of his childhood and his particular vision of modern art and its applications in his works have left him a different imprint in the field of contemporary painting .

Born in Rasht in 1979, Amir Soghrati lived there until the age of 20. He graduated in journalistic graphics from the Journalism Research and Studies Center in Tehran in 2002. He is one of the most active artists in Iran, active in different fields of art. Holding 22 individual exhibitions and 169 group exhibitions in Iran and abroad, also writing more than 1000 articles, reports, reviews as well as journalistic works are the results of his activities since 1994 until today.

They both developed a singular and pictorial formal language. Their originality and their strength transport us into unusual dreamlike and sensitive universes. They attempt to grasp the skin of things and the world in its eternal evolution and revolution, vacillating between the invisible and the inexpressible, between dreamed beauty and sublimated reality. in any case, They present us with a promise of a better world where Nature and Man are two eternal allies.
“Poetry of Nature” shows the vitality of two artists in full expansion, having acquired a major place in the Iranian artistic scene.
