France
Presentation
Ludovic Faledam was born in Guyana into a Franco-Vientamian family.
After growing up in the world of entertainment, Ludovic enrolled in 2002 at the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts (Olivier de Serres) from which he graduated in Space Design.
He began his career by collaborating with a landscape agency in Paris and Los Angeles, without leaving the world of music and entertainment.
In 2024 he created the Barbadine Design studio and received an award at the Salon Maison et Objet 2017 for the eco-design of his stools and lamps.
Influenced by the lush nature in which he grew up, Ludovic Faledam evokes in his artistic works the imprint of man on the earth in a society in perpetual technological change.
His series “Les lacs" is part of this approach. The lakes painted from above symbolize nature, the "architectural" geometric shapes, the presence of Man and the features of the data.
From this ecological dialogue, aesthetic canvases and drawings are sketched out, with living and vibrant shapes and materials.
