Biography
Lionel Morateur is a French artist born in 1961 and working near Périgueux. After studying architecture and a few years in liberal, he moved towards communication in the field of printing and the Web. For a few years now, Lionel Morateur has been developing an artistic work related to digital art.
Resolutely baroque, the work of Lionel Morateur, revisits the great ancient or religious themes, between myths and parables. Staging a Dionysiac universe on the edge of the razor, or excessiveness and excess leave the door open to multiple interpretations or levels of reading. Master in the art of the curveball, Lionel Morateur sends us back to this eternal part of us even escaping any reason or morality.
