Biography
Christophe Jehan was born in 1961, he is a French artist. He studied architecture in Paris and after graduating he worked in the Caribbean, while painting on the side. He then moved to France in the South West, and devoted himself to painting.
His works are figurative. The artist explores a playful and lively universe. In his sculptures and paintings, the artist is able to capture moments of life where the characters question our imagination. The artist gives them names and stories, these are nourished by all the encounters of his life. This is how his colorful and animated paintings exude deep joy.
Christophe Jehan began exhibiting in markets, before being discovered by a gallery who regularly exhibits his work.
