Ellie Sass (Sassayiannis)

Ellie Sass was born in Athens in 1973. She studied French Literature, Theatre, Fine Arts and Photography. She has lived in Monaco and in Greece.  She speaks Greek, French and English.   

Today Ellie Sass lives in Greece. Her photography studio 'Studio Ellie Sass' is based in Varkiza, outside of Athens.

She focuses on portrait, theatre, street and nature photography and works on narrative and experimental photography (photo expressionism). She also creates paintings, collages and mixed media artworks.

Ellie Sass has participated in multiple visual art exhibitions. She has distinguished herself in many competitions and her work has been exhibited in Europe. 

She has been working on various projects at this moment. Her main axis is spirituality, expressionism (abstract expressionism) and dadaism. She studies the human soul journey 'From Darkness To Light' through visual art photography series and digital photo collages or mixed media artworks.

Her faith in Jesus Christ gives her motivation to create artistically and to fulfil her purpose in life.
