Nicola Emanuele Tomaselli was born in Biancavilla in 1973 son of art and grandson of the Maestro Giuseppe Coco famous all over the world and who has passed away for 10 years. Nicola Emanuele has shown artistic interests since adolescence when, directed by his parents to classical studies, which started successfully, he then wanted to abandon to enroll in the renowned ceramic school in Caltagirone, where he achieved his artistic maturity with flying colors.

Eager to express his creativity, he frequented the ancient shops of the city, there he discovered the charm of the centuries-old artistic tradition of ceramics which he would complete with the art of the lathe at the school of the master Internullo, already a high school teacher in Art History. After his cultural and practical training, he began his artistic journey by combining archaic material of ancient Greek tradition with everyday life. Rooted in the current cultural heritage and in the collective memory of peoples, its ceramic has been increasingly present on the current creative scene, of the art of design. He created unique pieces of great impact obtaining great success in the various exhibitions made.

Despite its very long history, ceramics prove to be still vital, a highly versatile material that more than any other goes through artistic experimentation because it is capable of establishing a dynamic link between artisan virtuosity and conceptual dimension. Nicola Emanuele uses the versatility of clay to shape a thought and allow ceramics to function almost like a text that conveys emotions. He created unique pieces of great impact obtaining great success in the various exhibitions made. His last creation was the representation of the Octopus in its realistic and precious representation.
