Mikaela Olovsson

Mikaela Olovsson, born 1979 in Sweden, is a ceramic artist and photograper.

She designs ceramic and photographic art inspired by the Swedish landscape and the flows of life. Drawn to nature and the landscape, she longs for form, colour, and expression. Through contact with natural materials, she creates unique works in ceramics and photography.

Ever since she was a child, she has spent time at her grandparents' summer place on the West Coast of Sweden. Now, she has her studio by this coast, still drawn to the coastal landscape and inspired to create art and expressions from the surroundings. She has always been fascinated by the expressive qualities of photography, and she shares glimpses of the flows of life passing through.
