Christine Relton and Tom Marine have been painting collaboratively since 1996 under the name RELTON MARINE. They also run their gallery COLOURBOX to showcase their own and other artists work at art fairs in the UK. Christine studied fine art at Leeds and Lancaster and Tom at Byam Shaw and Chelsea School of Art and both have been involved in painting and printmaking for over 30 years.
RELTON MARINE have become widely known for their original style and have paintings in permanent collection at the House of Lords, are listed in both "Who's Who in Art" and "Artists in Britain since 1945", have done many commissions for public buildings as well as private buyers and exhibit and sell their work through art fairs and with galleries throughout the UK. They are based in the UK.
Through COLOURBOX they exhibit every year at art fairs in the UK, including AAF Battersea, Hampstead and Bristol. RELTON MARINE also collaborate regularly with other galleries to participate in art fairs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seattle, New York, Stockholm, Brussels, Milan, Amsterdam, Utrecht and Toronto.
