This is a scene from Les Chutes-de-la-Chaudiere near Quebec City. I stumbled on this gem of a location while road tripping with my wife on her birthday. It's a bird's eye view of my Geo Rocks I painting but slightly to the East. The whole area is mesmerizing with the different shapes and colours of the rocky landscape. The waterfalls flow into the Saint Lawrence River and was created around 480 million years ago with the Appalachian mountains. Loose canvas painting ready for stretching and framing. Delivered in sturdy cardboard tube.

Presentation
Artist Statement:
Greg was born in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1983. Trained as a software developer, Greg's passion for art was too powerful to refuse so he became a full time artist in 2021.
As a young boy, he always enjoyed drawing, did well in every art class he took, and was fascinated by what could be done with oil paint while watching Bob Ross on television. It wasn't until years later that he realized that his computer career would never be fulfilling enough. He decided to return to what he loved as a child and braved oil painting for the first time in early 2019. He never put the paintbrush down since.
Currently living in Quebec Canada, Greg specializes in landscape oil paintings.
Education:
He's never set foot in an art school and yet he excels in his art. He's a real self-taught artist.
Artistic Influences:
Inspired by world renowned artists such as Richard Robinson, John Crump, and Scott Hamill to make expressive, painterly paintings with lots of movement and energy.
