"Solaris" has a phonetic similarity with another Latin word "Solis", which means "loneliness"
I gave the name to the painting, reasoning over the deepest literary works of Stanislaw Lem of the same name - that's how the writer called the OCEAN...
The picture tells that a person without faith is only a focus of vices, sins and weaknesses. Without faith, human life becomes random, meaningless, and it turns out that the person himself is just a toy in the hands of the indifferent ""universal mind"", which, by and large, does not care about the person himself.
In solitude lies both strength and weakness.
The canvas captures the story of my experience, how I drew strength from loneliness and found freedom and self-confidence.
But such are people - we are all different, and everyone who looks at the picture is an integral part of it, and sees something of their own in it.

The painting would be a fitting addition to spaces where reflection and intellectual stimulation are encouraged, such as private studies, home libraries, or even modern corporate offices. The dominating blues and blacks suggest depth and complexity, ideal for areas that invite introspective thought. The canvas speaks to those who appreciate art that combines personal experience with universal themes of faith, individuality, and the human condition.

* The painting is done on stretched canvas using top quality acrylic paints and materials.
* It is ready to hang on the wall. The edges have also been painted, so it is not necessary to frame it.
* Carefully packed: The painting is sent in cardboard boxes wrapped with great care in bubble paper.

Presentation

Mary Romanova is a professional artist from Russia, was born in 1986 in Russia, the city of Samara.

From early childhood Mary loved to draw. Her favorite artists were Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Gustav Klimt, Pierre Soulages, whose work inspired her throughout her youth. She successfully graduated from the Fine Arts School and from College with a degree in design. After graduating from the state Academy of Culture and Arts Mary experimented with various techniques via modern trends, exploring materials possibilities, and different approaches to painting.

Understanding the visual imagery, fragments of the surrounding world and its associations, Mary paints her artworks in an abstract style and uses texture paste on canvas, bravely experimenting with color. She loves working with large formats.

The artist opened an Art Studio "MARY ART ROOM" in the summer of 2019, where she not only works every day, but also organizes master classes, performs webinars, and provides individual drawing training for teenagers.

Her paintings adorn the home interiors of collectors around the world, create a pleasant atmosphere in company offices, place bright accents in the halls of cafés and restaurants, and are part of hotel interior decor.
