Supocaos is an emblematic figure of Nîmes graffiti, the prolific artist and in particular the artistic director of the expert from Ouff to Nîmes. It is inspired by three atmospheres: psychedelic, retro and realism. This artist, licensed in plastic art in Vauban is recognized for his colorful graffiti, with a simple line, between naive and raw art.
The artist plays with his recurring motifs: the lighthouse and duck mud in plastic, two motifs that tell each other, and which explain in the projection of the lighthouse which guides us, and which moves when we are this lighthouse ... we are All children are grown up ... His universe is powerful and apocalyptic. Worked with phosphorescent paint, his works tinged with humor are double-sided and will surprise you.
Always against the grain, Supocaos is invited to artistic and urban events around the world.
You have to understand that this artist is a hero of graffiti culture. The discipline of the letter, the control of the bomb, extreme conditions. An artistic schizophrenia emerges, although everything is under control, it takes shape in the dichotomy between supo and caos ...
If the energy of the graffiti, with its dimension "release", the Supo, in reaction to the particle "Supa" very used at the time, allows the artist to create in the tone of irony.
For this exhibition, the artist paid tribute to the contemporary art movement "Support - Surface", diverting to "Sur porte, sur casse", by using recycled materials, waste objects. He assembles and thus offers unique works of art, always in his atypical universe, which gives viewers to reflect on our excessive consumption. By devoting himself to the technique, the artist has not forgotten his concept by diverting his "chaotic" flat areas of painting with his constructions.
