Biografía
Sven Pfommer está siempre en la frontera entre la fotografía , la pintura y el grabado . Sven da más o menos la ventaja a uno u otro arte. Sus obras son a menudo fotografías tomadas durante sus viajes que combina con fragmentos gráficos y áreas pintadas en su estudio. Sven nació en Berlína , estudió Comunicación Visual en la Universidad de Hildesheim y recibió una beca del British Council para estudiar en el Royal College of Art de Londres. Si bien trabajó durante varios años como director de arte y fotógrafo, también pasó los últimos 15 años concentrándose en el mercado del arte internacional. Hace diez años fundó su propia galería de fotografía contemporánea en la capital del arte, Berlín. Desde hace 7 años también imparte docencia de fotografía, arte y diseño en diversas universidades.
Su obra ha sido expuesta en cuatro continentes y publicada en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Países Bajos y Alemania. Fue galardonado con el Premio Walter Thiemann en 1996. Ha realizado encargos para la industria automovilística, la industria de la moda , varios proyectos hoteleros y clínicas.
