Biografía

Yo tomo fotos. Hago imágenes. A diferencia de la película, que te abruma con el movimiento y el sonido, definiendo el momento en curso, una fotografía simplemente se queda quieta mientras tú decides lo que está diciendo.


Creo firmemente que los artistas siempre deben ser parte de una conversación y compartir ideas provocativas. Mi idea es la estética y el empoderamiento para un mundo mejor. Espero que con mi trabajo, los pueblos indígenas remotos (en muchos casos sin una perspectiva global) tengan un mejor sentido de su singularidad e importancia en el mundo en el que todos vivimos, lo que los ayudará a ser más resistentes a las presiones que los rodean. .


Esta documentación artística personal es una forma de volver a encender el fuego y el orgullo dentro y por los pueblos indígenas, de crear respeto mutuo por todas las personas y de empoderar a las generaciones futuras en todo el mundo para iluminar su patrimonio cultural.


Así que todos veremos el panorama más amplio y nos mantendremos unidos en nuestra diversidad, para enfrentar los enormes desafíos que enfrentamos como humanidad en la próxima década.
