Pinturas con encanto clásico
No es un secreto que los artistas se han inspirado en el arte clásico a la hora de plasmar sus obras. Desde La escuela de Atenas (1511) de Rafael hasta El juramento de Horacio (1784) de Jacques-Louis David, el artista capta el momento cuidadosamente compuesto justo antes de que se produzca un acontecimiento. Pero entre estos dos periodos artísticos se encuentra el clasicismo, que valora la simetría y el equilibrio del periodo clásico: El arte barroco. El dramatismo de un momento o de un acontecimiento que se pretende captar e inmortalizar mediante el uso del color y la luz dominaba las pinturas de artistas como Poussin, Vermeer y Rembrandt. Las pinturas al óleo, construidas en varias capas transparentes, creaban relucientes muestras de paisajes, retratos, arquitectura y vida cotidiana que ahora se veneran en las paredes de galerías y museos. Hoy en día, los artistas pueden estar directamente influenciados por el clasicismo de los grandes. O, de hecho, pueden ser influenciados indirectamente utilizando esta reverencia y los tropos ampliamente identificados de los grandes artistas para añadir encanto a su propio trabajo. En la propia selección de obras de Artsper, se exponen mucho obras como las de Diana Malivani, mientras que Mieke Jonker pinta al óleo inspirándose en Rembrandt para crear obras de fuerte composición, colores armoniosos y la entrañable inclusión de su propia firma, sinónimo de grandes artistas.
