Raised by the counterculture of the 1990s, Andrea Van Der Hoeven, born in 1994, found his first outlet in the streets. Fascinated by the world of graffiti, still perceived at the time as an underground art, he forged an instinctive and raw visual language, reflecting a generation in search of freedom.
His exploration of this free art form led him to travel across European capitals, meeting artists and collectives who would profoundly influence his career. These exchanges fueled his determination and firmly anchored him in the world of street culture.
Inspired by fashion, Andrea draws on its duality—between brutality and softness—to create a unique style. He blends the codes of street art and pop culture, reinterpreting them with a contemporary and sensitive perspective.
His works vibrate with energy and movement, conveying the pulse of the street as much as the power of emotion. Through a universal visual language, Andrea Van Der Hoeven celebrates the vitality of gesture, the strength of the collective, and free expression as the founding act of his art.
