This drawing and collage paper points to a provocative exploration of human perception and introspection. In the foreground, the profile of a woman with an elegant bun stands out, immediately catching the viewer's attention. This is a collaged laser printer print. The collage with this head holds the papers of the two halves of the picture together. Her facial expression, introspectively dreaming. The head is repeated in reverse on the left side as a quiet, blurred nitro transfer print.
Particularly noteworthy are the six oversized eyes, which are arranged in pastel-colored circles and literally dominate the room. These multiple eyes are realistic and yet blurred and create a hypnotic effect. These are again nitro prints. The open eyes seem to look directly at the viewer, which provokes an intensive confrontation with one's own perception and inner emotions.
Two states of perception are addressed: the open view outward and the view inward.
This composition is not only a feast for the senses but also a deep intellectual experience, challenging the viewer to actively engage with the many layers of emotions and perspectives on display, making the work a striking example of modern figurative art that masterfully combines psychological depth and technical virtuosity.
