Artist Statement:
Artist Statement
I am inspired by movement and energy. I paint my thoughts, sometimes split second impressions of a subject. When I glance at a scene to be painted, I capture the essence and the mood immediately. Watercolor has chosen me as my primary medium. I love to exploit the medium in a nontraditional way with an emphasis on a strong focal point.
Biography
Nardolillo has won numerous prestigious awards and "Best of Shows". Most recently the American Watercolor Society's 148th Annual International Exhibition in NYC. The New Jersey Watercolor Society's Best of Show, and the Salmagundi Club NYC, first prize for outstanding work. Recent Solo show at The Hoboken Museum, Spring 2017. He was the Artist in Focus in the renowned art magazine 'American Art Collector'. He is an artist member of the distinguished Salmagundi Club, NYC, and an elected member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society.
Robert Nardolillo's work can be found in several public displays and in private art collections both in the United States and internationally. He currently resides and works in New Jersey.
