Presentation

Nerza Villegas was born in the city of San Cristóbal, Venezuela and currently resides in Spain. He began to study drawing in a self-taught way in Colombia, and studied Plastic Arts at the University of La Sabana in Bogotá, in the year (1996), and then painting in San Pablo, Brazil, in ABRA (2000) he also attended different workshops in Madrid, Spain (2002). 

She has lived in countries like Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, and Panama, where she has continued her artistic training. In Montevideo, Uruguay (2006), she studied in workshops of artists such as Miriam Núñez and Cléver Lara and attended the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay; in said capital in the year (2004), one of her watercolors, titled “the dream", was selected for an exhibition in the “Peace in the World" contest organized by B'nai b'rith of Uruguay. In the first painting contest of the Golf Club in Panama, her painting on hole 1 obtained the 2nd. Award (2008). 

In 2014, she obtained a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, Nerza Villegas has made different group and individual exhibitions, and her works are in private collections in Uruguay, Venezuela, the United States, Panama and Spain. Her work can be found at the Weil Art Gallery in Panama, and the Art Nou Mil.lenni Gallery in Barcelona, Spain.
