This portrait of a creature is an unstructured transformation, where different parts of women's faces are combined with elements of the Pink Panther, Angry bird and the face of a Sphynx cat. The different parts mix to form a new visual story. From a cubist perspective, geometric shapes are intertwined to form an intriguing hybrid. Angular lines and decomposed shapes create a sense of movement and constant change of point of view. The fragments of female faces blend harmoniously with the features of the Pink Panther, Angry bird and the Sphynx cat, creating a bold fusion between human and animal. This unstructured representation invites the observer to explore the multiple facets of this hybrid creature and to perceive reality in a cubist way. This bold fusion creates a dynamic composition where angular lines and geometric shapes intertwine to offer an original vision of this hybrid. It is an artistic interpretation that challenges conventions and invites us to explore new possibilities in the representation of the human and animal form.

Presentation

Ronnie Jiang subtly and derisively combines stories to expose the contradictions of today's world. Realistic portraits and cartoon characters from this series dedicated to social reflection rub shoulders and dialogue. The interest of their confrontation is amplified by a duality of tones. The men, women and children painted in sober gray and flesh tones are heckled by the flamboyant colors of animated characters such as Pinnochio or Donald Duck.

Portraits, faces, lips, eyes, busts, breasts…. In this series dedicated to the destructuring of bodies, a joyful anatomy is built and deconstructed in the footsteps of cubism. The carnal fragments Geometric but always realistic identify themselves flawlessly and free themselves in their contortions. As usual, we detect in the work of Ronnie Jiang some characters from cartoons and famous people such as Picasso or Dali. Assertive and charismatic individualities spring forth without being disembodied. These new, strange and imposing creatures show a certain spatiality of forms. Their juxtapositions lead to the possibility of a new narrative. Despite the suggested mystery, the controlled and mannered line is part of the figurative filiation.

The artist reveals here through humor the failings of the information society, fake news, human innocence, the relationships of domination and the wars that destroy the world. These works intend to shake up consciences. Ronnie Jiang practices art with commitment. She aspires to convey an accessible message by transmitting a certain generational symptom. Caroline Canault.
