Orangutan literally means 'man of the forest'. He is one of man's closest relatives, 97% of it's DNA is common with that of humans.
Orangutan is in danger of extinction.
IT IS TIME... to merge our two worlds into one. Rewild before it's too late. The wild is in decline. We have degraded three quarter of all wild place on this beautiful earth.

The inspiration is based on my respect and connection for nature, the wisdom of Leonardo Da Vinci, native people like the Hopi, nature and the interdimensional connection with wisdom, but most of all my love for nature. The earth is perfect, the human is a part of nature. The earth evolves in her own way. Human is not in charge, the earth knows what to do. We are all one, love is the only way.
There is a need and respect of diversity of all life, we all depend on nature and the interdimensional connection. In my case this is an universal flow that translates into paintings. Art is my voice.
Each painting is made up of several layers. The Unforgettable are large paintings. The Lions, The Polar Bears, The Black Jaguar, The Elephants, The Orangutans, they all have a symbolic meaning in this series. Survivor, Protector, Betrayer, Family, Cooperate for example. In the background of the paintings are hidden treasures like portraits and animals. Each painting has its own story.
The Dutch artist only uses the highest quality materials, top quality paint which he, like all old masters, crafted himself using the earth's highest quality pigments.
