This captivating work features an assemblage of perfectly aligned vertical lines, creating a dynamic visual effect. The subtle gradient from green to purple gives a fascinating depth to the image, while maintaining a chromatic harmony. The bright red border accentuates the contrast, framing the center in a bold manner. The parallel lines seem to be in motion, evoking an optical illusion that immediately captures attention. The juxtaposition of colors and geometric shapes reflects a rigorous mastery of space and proportion. Each element contributes to a harmonious whole, revealing the complexity behind a deceptively simple appearance. This composition challenges with its ability to transform minimalist elements into a visually powerful masterpiece.

Presentation
Jean-Paul CARBONEL was born in 1954.
Currently he lives and works in the North. He studied science in Paris.
His work is at the intersection of geometric abstraction, constructed art and digital art. This work is related to mathematics, more particularly to geometry, to series, to progressions, to randomness.
He made many paintings, sculptures and drawings.
Some paintings juxtapose multiple surface elements, nested in structures, or arranged randomly, which allows rhythmic color variations according to the construction of the object.
The drawings are made in colored pencil and consist of the superposition or crossing of different screens. The experiment consists in varying the different parameters of the frame.
Several people have testified to his work;
"Her relief paintings are like so many vitaminized music" (Maryline Lefebvre)
“An art carried by a mathematical dynamism. "
“Jean-Paul defines his art as a game between randomness and constantly redefined rules from which ideas emerge, which will give rise to new paintings, sculptures and drawings. Each work contains the germ of another, thus forming an associative chain. »(Federico Maldonado January 2018)
In addition, he participated in the following exhibitions:
- Da Silva Internationale Galerie in Villeneuve d'Ascq: 2005.
- LINEART fair in Ghent (Belgium): 2005.
- Collective participation in the open days of the artist workshops: 2005 to 2007.
- Public auction in Boulogne sur mer: 2008.
- Maison Quercitaine of New Zealand in Le Quesnoy (59): 2008.
