Presentation
In 2012, after a very active professional and family life, I finally found the conditions of time, place and interior availability to take back the brushes and canvases that had been neglected for many years. Time had not, however, been wasted. Very involved in the artistic life of the city where I lived, I approached the artistic question through dance, song and writing. This has forged a personal universe in which I draw now and which I put at the service of the imperative urgency which makes me express myself now. My work as a painter is abstract but anchored in reality which nourishes my expression.
Thus, in 2017 I worked a lot on the representation of water and music with the objective of showing the "global" and the "detail", the macro and the micro. The water that is not blue, the music that is rhythms, colors, waves ... This led to a major exhibition in Saint Mesmin in Vendée where I presented around 80 paintings as well as in Ploemel in Brittany.
In 2018, after moving to the southwest, my new, larger workshop allowed me to consider new avenues and new working formats. Colors, sensations, gestures have resulted in interpretations of the notion of blur, fracture, or space.
I exhibited my work in different places around Dax and Mont-de-Marsan (Narrosse, Bayonne, Dax, Mont-de-Marsan, Ozourt, Mimizan, Hagetmau ...) which allowed me to contact the Region, its art lovers and artists. My paintings travel and in 2019, several of them found place in Paris, Strasbourg, Nice and Los Angeles. This brought me all the greater satisfaction since the current economic context is difficult.
I wish to continue to offer my work in a wider regional circle including the neighboring departments of the Landes, without excluding other more distant possibilities. It seems fundamental to me to cultivate the relationship with the public and the direct contact with art lovers which allow a healthy distance from our work and an exchange that feeds our creation.
